operating eatery
1912. That’s when Frankie’s Java House opened its doors on the Embarcadero. Fast forward to today and Frankie’s has dropped the Java House but maintains its humble roots. Grab a bite, enjoy a drink and catch a game. Whether you’re stopping by pre-game or post-game or are just drinking in one of the best views in all of the city, Frankie’s warmly welcomes you as we have for well over a century.
What’s in a Name?
The Heffernan family (of extensive Bay Area history dating back to the 1800s) purchased Frankie’s in 2018. The establishment bears the name of Frankie Michael Heffernan, a lifelong Giants fan and season ticket holder since 1958. Frankie lived and breathed Bay Area sports, and we’re proud to honor him with – and invite you to – this iconic South Beach establishment.
